HOW WE HELP
The SiTa Foundation has a technology and a strategy to address this pervasive and costly abuse impacting our nation and other countries throughout the world.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, ALSO KNOWN AS INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE (“IPV”), IS A RAMPANT ISSUE IMPACTING MILLIONS OF AMERICANS ANNUALLY.
IPV costs the U.S. up to $460 billion annually;
Nearly ½ of all female homicides in the U.S. are a result of IPV;
Victims experience significant long-term affliction;
COVID-19 and economic stress has exacerbated these attacks; and
There is currently no technology solution to mitigate this insidious crime.

THE SITA FOUNDATION’S UNIQUE APPROACH WILL:
Make victims of violence safer; help can be called without instigating the attacker.
Reduce police department costs when responding to calls for help.
Increase officer safety when responding to calls for help.
On June 11, 2020 two Texas police officers were killed responding to a domestic violence complaint.
About 5-10% of police responses to domestic violence end up in an assault of an officer.
Reduce long-term effects victims of violence experience that lead to lost income, mental health issues, and physical health issues.
Instill confidence and empower victims of violence, providing a long-term positive impact to the victim.
